During my second year in VAMUdeS, I designed a new Arduino Shield. The project is aimed to simplify and accelerate embedded system development by having all the necessary ports for the vast majority of the needed systems. The shield is meant to be fixed on our on-board SBC, the UDOO x86. The shield therefore powers up the computer with a 12V input and a buck converter power all the 5V compliant outputs.

The PCB features:

• 4 PWM outputs
• 2 adjustable voltage outputs
• 1 dual full H-Bridge motor driver
• 1 ADC input
• 1 digital input
• 1 I2C port
• 1 UART port
