UAV Payload Solution
Description
On my first year in the team VAMUdeS, I built a custom payload controlling software that connects to the UAV using two Ubiquiti antennas. The software integrates control for the FPV camera, the gimbal and the main DSLR camera. The software was built using C++ and the Qt Framework. The system is built in two different software. The first and most important is the on-board software, which connects to all the needed devices and controls them. The second one is the ground control software. It connects to the aircraft computer to send commands and receive data via the wireless ethernet link.
